Brady W. Ramsay, CPA 

Brady W. Ramsay, CPA

Brady is the owner of Ramsay & Associates. He specializes in business advisory services, financial statement preparation and personal, fiduciary and corporate tax and accounting.

His professional experience started in high school as a seasonal tax preparer at Ramsay & Associates. During college Brady worked four tax seasons for a large national CPA firm. From there he went on to work for a local firm in Phoenix for three years before joining us in 2006.

Brady has a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the Minnesota Society of CPAs and an Eagle Scout.

Brady was born and raised in Mahtomedi and has a deep devotion and love of his community. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of White Bear Lake. He served on the board for several years, has served as the chair of the Community Service Committee, and was President during the 2015-2016 Rotary year. He is a current board member of the White Bear Area YMCA, serves as Treasurer for the Greater White Bear Lake Community Foundation, Treasurer for the White Bear Lake Area Historical Society and Treasurer for Bear Boating of White Bear Lake.

Brady enjoys spending time with his wife Heather and their two sons, as well as boating, fishing, and gardening.

Richard W. Ramsay, CPA, PFS

Rich founded Ramsay & Associates in 1976. He is primarily involved at the firm in the areas of business advisory, personal tax preparation, and personal financial planning. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Personal Financial Specialist.

He has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a major in accounting and marketing. He began his career in the accounting department with 3M Company. After three years with 3M, interrupted with one year of active duty in the Army (followed by five years of reserve duty), he joined a regional accounting firm in the Twin Cities for two years. After this, he began accepting clients and formally organized the firm in 1976.

Rich is an Eagle Scout and was Scoutmaster for six years. He has been on the Board of Directors of the YMCA in White Bear Lake and held positions there as treasurer, president, and major fund raising campaign chairman, and also received the YMCA Distinguished Leader Award.; Rich has served as the White Bear Lake Winterfest treasurer and fundraising chairman and on the Board of Directors of the White Bear Lake Chamber of Commerce as well as treasurer.He is currently a member of the Rotary Club of White Bear Lake, where he has been on the board and served as treasurer, international service director, youth exchange officer, president, foundation director, and invocation contributor. He is also active in his church and is a member of the Minnesota Society of CPAs and the American Society of CPAs.

He is married to Mary and has three sons and four grandchildren. His hobbies include skiing, hiking, kayaking, gardening, biking, travel, and Koi.

Erik L. Warmboe, CPA

Erik specializes in individual and business tax, accounting, and financial statement preparation. Prior to joining the team in 2011, his professional experience includes two tax seasons with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistant (VITA) program and an internship with a local CPA firm in Eden Prairie.

Erik has both a Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in finance from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Erik is a member of the Minnesota Society of CPAs.

Erik enjoys ice-skating, playing the piano, and traveling with his wife.

Ashley N. Filipovich, CPA

Prior to joining the team in 2015, Ashley’s professional experience includes two prior tax seasons at a local firm in Bemidji, where she attended college, and one tax season at a national CPA firm.

Ashley has both a Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in finance from Bemidji State University. Ashley is married to Nick and they enjoy traveling, camping, skiing and many other outdoor activities.

Wendy M. Hendricks

Wendy is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and responsible for QuickBooks training and consulting as well as bookkeeping for clients and internal affairs.

After working many years in large corporate accounting departments, Wendy changed her career focus to concentrate on small business development. She now enjoys helping small businesses develop accounting systems and organize administrative functions so they make the most efficient use of their time.

She loves horses and she and her husband live on a hobby farm where they have Belgian horses that are used for various farming activities as well as for pulling wagons and sleighs.

Rosanne M. Gulland

Rosanne is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor with over 25 years of bookkeeping experience. She specializes in small business bookkeeping and QuickBooks training. She enjoys equipping clients with time saving techniques and tools to get the most out of their QuickBooks program.

Rosanne is active in her church, serving as their Treasurer and the Liaison between the Administrative Board and the Ministry Team Leaders. She volunteers for several non-profit organizations and has been a participant in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life since 2004.

Rosanne and her husband, Dale, have six children and ten grandchildren. Her hobbies include Sudoku puzzles, gardening, do-it-yourself home projects, and following her grandchildren’s activities.

Cathy R. Stuhl 

Cathy is Director of Operations and the Payroll Specialist. She keeps the office organized and is responsible for payroll processing for clients, human relations, solving computer technical problems and interfacing with our technical support people, accounts receivable, tax e-filing, and much more.

She has an Associate in Applied Sciences degree from the University of Minnesota. Cathy has worked in banking, retail, manufacturing and an ATM division of a national company. These work experiences have all involved working with numbers and she has enjoyed the research and problem solving they brought to her.

She is married to Mike and has one son and one grandson. She enjoys reading, crocheting afghans, and solving jigsaw puzzles. Her family has an annual puzzle contest to see who can assemble the puzzle in the fastest time.

Sarah L. Hinz

Sarah joined our team in 2011 and is our Administrative Specialist. She is generally the first face you see when you walk into our office and she enjoys helping clients with their needs. Sarah is responsible for delivering awesome customer service and is tasked with managing many aspects of the firm’s administrative needs.

Sarah and her husband Neil enjoy spending as much time as they can with their family and friends. They are also parents to Perry, a cat who deeply believes he is human.

Jenni Corbett

Jenni joined the team in 2014. With almost 20 years’ experience lending business management skills and resourcefulness to small companies with inspiring entrepreneurs, she enjoys the challenge of working behind the scenes to help make big ideas a reality. Jenni uses those same skills throughout the Mahtomedi community as an avid volunteer for the city, her church and schools, the local historical society and other special interest organizations. Whether helping a neighbor or assisting a client, Jenni finds great reward in lending a hand.
