Brady W. Ramsay, CPA 

Brady W. Ramsay, CPA

Brady is the owner of Ramsay & Associates. He specializes in business advisory services, financial statement preparation and personal, fiduciary and corporate tax and accounting.

His professional experience started in high school as a seasonal tax preparer at Ramsay & Associates. During college Brady worked four tax seasons for a large national CPA firm. From there he went on to work for a local firm in Phoenix for three years before joining us in 2006.

Brady has a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the Minnesota Society of CPAs and an Eagle Scout.

Brady was born and raised in Mahtomedi and has a deep devotion and love of his community. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of White Bear Lake. He served on the board for several years, has served as the chair of the Community Service Committee, and was President during the 2015-2016 Rotary year. He is a current board member of the White Bear Area YMCA, serves as Treasurer for the Greater White Bear Lake Community Foundation, Treasurer for the White Bear Lake Area Historical Society and Treasurer for Bear Boating of White Bear Lake. Brady also represents the City of Dellwood as a Director for the White Bear Lake Conservation District Board and serves as Treasurer for the City of Dellwood.

Brady enjoys spending time with his wife Heather and their two sons, as well as boating, fishing, and gardening.

Richard W. Ramsay, CPA, PFS

Rich founded Ramsay & Associates in 1976 and transferred ownership to Brady Ramsay in 2016. Rich is primarily involved with personal financial planning but also with the firm in the areas of business advisory and personal tax preparation. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Personal Financial Specialist.

He has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a major in accounting and marketing. He began his career in the accounting department with 3M Company. After three years with 3M, interrupted with one year of active duty in the Army (followed by five years of reserve duty), he joined a regional accounting firm in the Twin Cities for two years. After this, he began accepting clients and formally organized the firm in 1976.

Rich is an Eagle Scout and was a Scoutmaster for six years. He has been on the Board of Directors of the YMCA in White Bear Lake and held positions there as treasurer, president, and major fundraising campaign chairman, and also received the YMCA Distinguished Leader Award. Rich has served as the White Bear Lake Winterfest treasurer and fundraising chairman and on the Board of Directors of the White Bear Lake Chamber of Commerce as well as treasurer. He is currently a member of the Rotary Club of White Bear Lake, where he has been on the board and served as treasurer, international service director, youth exchange officer, president, foundation director, and invocation contributor. He is on the board of directors for Rotary District 5960 as treasurer and has been involved in the grants vision project and community service director. He is also active in his church and is a member of the Minnesota Society of CPAs and the American Society of CPAs.

Rich is married to Mary and has three sons and six grandchildren. His hobbies include skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, kayaking, gardening, biking, travelling and tending to his Koi pond.

Ashley N. Filipovich, CPA

Prior to joining the team in 2015, Ashley’s professional experience includes two prior tax seasons at a local firm in Bemidji, where she attended college, and one tax season at a national CPA firm.

Ashley has both a Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in finance from Bemidji State University. Ashley is married to Nick and they enjoy traveling, camping, skiing and many other outdoor activities.

Dave M. Zachor, CPA 

Dave focuses on business advisory services and business, individual, fiduciary and estate tax planning & preparation.

He started his professional career after his first year in college in Bemidji, joining a local CPA firm. There he was involved in individual and fiduciary tax, financial statement preparation and auditing public school districts, cities and government entities and programs for four years. From there, he moved to the metro area where he worked 10 years for a CPA firm in Roseville involved in business and individual tax, financial statement preparation and corporate and non-profit auditing. In 1990 he founded his own full service CPA firm in White Bear Lake, and after 29 years merged the firm into Ramsay & Associates in late 2018.

Dave has a Bachelor of Science degree from Bemidji State University in Accounting and Business Administration. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the Minnesota Society of CPAs since 1978 and a member of the American Institute of CPAs.

Dave has served on the Board of Directors for Heartland Christian Academy in Bemidji, Gladstone Christian Academy in Maplewood and the Vadnais Heights Rotary Club. He served on the White Bear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for several years, including terms as Treasurer and President. He has served on the Board of Directors, and as Treasurer of Explore White Bear since 2008. He has also served on the Board of Directors of White Bear Lake Main Street since 1993, and as Treasurer for most of those years. Over the years he has also enjoyed volunteering for his church and other organizations.

Dave enjoys traveling with his wife Valerie and his hobbies include fishing and photography. They have two married children and six grandchildren to keep them young and active.

Brian J. Egerman, CPA

Brian J. Egerman, CPA, has been a licensed MN CPA since 1989. In varying capacities since then, I have worked in most of those engagements commonly offered in a public accounting firm. Audit, Review, Compilations and Tax; Business and Individuals.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy most activities that are best off experienced without cell phones present.

Wendy M. Hendricks

Wendy is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and responsible for QuickBooks training and consulting as well as bookkeeping for clients and internal affairs.

After working many years in large corporate accounting departments, Wendy changed her career focus to concentrate on small business development. She now enjoys helping small businesses develop accounting systems and organize administrative functions so they make the most efficient use of their time.

She loves horses and she and her husband live on a hobby farm where they have Belgian horses that are used for various farming activities as well as for pulling wagons and sleighs.

Rosanne M. Gulland

Rosanne is a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor with over 30 years of bookkeeping experience. She specializes in small business bookkeeping and QuickBooks training. She enjoys equipping clients with time saving techniques and tools to get the most out of their QuickBooks program.

Rosanne and her husband, Dale, have six children and twelve grandchildren. She is active in her church, serving as their Treasurer. Her hobbies include Sudoku puzzles, gardening, do-it-yourself home projects, and following her grandchildren’s activities.

Cheryl Fields

Cheryl recently moved back to the area after living in Omaha for the past five years. Cheryl comes to the firm with 20+ years of administrative experience consisting of areas in real estate, law and government firms.

She enjoys spending time with her daughter and volunteering with the children’s ministry at her church. She has also headed up several volunteer committees including Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity, Keep Omaha Beautiful and the Back to School backpack programs. She enjoys giving back and helping others get involved in community service.

She was heavily involved in the Phipps Center for the Arts performances and served on the Childrens’ Theater Council for several years. She could also be seen in the shop painting sets with the Technical Director.

She has two dogs and a cat and enjoys spending time outdoors.


Angie Fitzgerald

Angie joins our team with a variety of experience including insurance, investments and a high level of customer service. She helps bring administrative efficiencies to our team along with a touch of humor.

Before joining our team, Angie obtained various insurance licenses including Property, Casualty, Life and Health. She enjoys helping people navigate complex situations and is excited to do the same with Ramsay and Associates.

In her free time she enjoys attending history and community events with friends and family. She challenges herself with a personal goal- to try something new every year. Although Sky Diving is out of the question due to a crippling fear of heights other attempts include golf, tap dancing and mud bogging. – It turns out she is not one of the 45% of Americans who enjoy golfing but mud bogging is a different story.

Recently her family joined the 4H Dog Program, and plans to show their Golden Retriever if he ever learns to behave.

Angie looks forward to greeting our clients and getting to know them individually so that she can be an integral Ramsay associate assisting in their tax process.

Jen Thompson

Jen recently joined our team in 2019. She provides administrative support to the office in a variety of ways. She looks forward to getting to know clients personally and working to best meet their needs.

Jen holds Bachelors of Arts degrees in Business Administration and Organizational Communication from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. Prior to taking this position, she worked in a variety of roles in the non-profit world; including most recently at the Community Resource Center at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi.

Jen, her husband John, and their four daughters enjoy being involved in the Mahtomedi community through the schools, sports and their church. In her spare time she loves to travel, spend time in the great outdoors, take art classes and read a good book.

Jenni Corbett

Jenni joined the team in 2014. With almost 20 years’ experience lending business management skills and resourcefulness to small companies with inspiring entrepreneurs, she enjoys the challenge of working behind the scenes to help make big ideas a reality. Jenni uses those same skills throughout the Mahtomedi community as an avid volunteer for the city, her church and schools, the local historical society and other special interest organizations. Whether helping a neighbor or assisting a client, Jenni finds great reward in lending a hand.

Kris Haffely

Kris specializes in business and individual tax, accounting and financial statement preparation. Kris is part of the team that merged from Dave Zachor, CPA where she spent 12 years completing tax returns, financial statements and other various tasks.

Kris has a bachelors degree in accounting from Augsburg College in Minneapolis. She is married to Joel and enjoys spending time with him and their kids. She also enjoys board and card games, travelling, camping and spending time “up north” at the family cabin during the beautiful Minnesota summers.
